2.0+ 1.0+ 1.0+ 4.0+ 1.0+

Example

This example shows a set styles of anchor elements that will visually change color and text-decoration depending on state and mouse behavior:

a {
color: blue;
text-decoration: underline;
}

a:active {
color: yellow;
text-decoration: none;
}

a:link {
color: blue;
text-decoration: underline;
}

a:visited {
color: purple;
text-decoration: none;
}

a:focus {
color: red;
text-decoration: none;
}

a:hover {
color: red;
text-decoration: none;
}

Remarks

Takes the same properties as a regular anchor element. You can style an a:hover element to show a visual cue as to when a user is hovering over the link. Use a:hover to easily mimic rollover behavior for your links.
